Everywhere u go baby I go be ur hand bag – Wizkid shows enormous support to Tiwa Savage

Falz’s Sweet Boys Association might have gotten every Nigerian on social media into a frenzy, but the commotion Wizkid’s new video had stirred up has no known antecedent. It is simply one of a kind. And just so it is said, there is also now an online community that mirrors just what Fever means to many.

It’s called the Pepper Stew Association, and it need not be said who the president and first lady of this new social media gang are. Tiwatope Savage, the female musician whose enthralling performance in the new video Fever, got everyone talking was the one who came out to unveil this new association. She did this in a post which was captioned with an introductory remark about the group: “President and the First Lady of the Pepper Stew Association #ThisIsAfrica #Beautiful ❤️”. Quite an opening! The ‘president’ of the Pepper Stew Association also asserted Tiwa’s grand unveiling by posting the same picture used by the female musician and calling her the queen of the group.

This he has done in the midst of the unpleasant conversations many fan are having about Tiwa. While the female musician has gone on to slam her trolls in a series of epic responses, Wizkid is simply showing love! He posted a clip from the affectionate scenes he shared with the 38-year-old female singer. Then he went ahead to put a caption alongside: “Everywhere u go baby I go be ur hand bag.”

But to show that his word was his bond, the award-winning musician chose to support his best friend Tiwa over his directly linked colleague Davido. As it happens, Tiwa Savage and Davido were both nominated as Best African Act in the MTV Europe Music Award. While both musicians are both favoured colleagues of Wizkid, the artiste has chosen which end of the stick he is holding on to, and as expected, it just happens to be Tiwa’s end. Hence, in a post, he vouched his support with regards to the nomination, adding a caption that shows just why he is her choice: “Let’s bring it home !!! best friend /strong woman / Queen! ”
