Don’t be ignorant. They created more states for themselves using their military regimes before they switched to democracy such that once we are now in a democratic system, votes will sway their way using only 5 states alone viz; Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Borno, Yobe. If this structure remains, there is no way possible to wrestle power from the Fulanis. Never!!!! We will continue to shout PVC!! PVC!! and they will still get power at their beck and call.

It was a carefully strategized plan from the 70’s. The Yorubas being their enablers share in the power tussle. The Fulanis were not foolish when in 1999 they first made a Yoruba President to enjoy their full run of 8years. They knew that would kill their anger over the June 12 saga heralded around Late Chief MKO Abiola which was annulled by IBB despite it being adjudged the freest and fairest election ever conducted in Nigeria as at that time.

Once they have satisfied their enablers, the Yorubas. They got agitated by the emergence of a GEJ whose region apparently generates the fuel that runs the wheels of Nigeria. The plan to unseat him thus began. But by sheer massive “pleasing” of the Northern elites, he was again allowed another 4years after completing his Boss’— Late Musa Yar’Adua’s tenure. Have we forgotten so soon that everything was done to truncate GEJ’s constitutional right as VP to be sworn in? But by providence he was the President. They also saw the need to use that 4 years to calm the Niger Delta Agitators who at that time has intensified massive bombings of Oil installations and kidnapping of foreign expatriates thus shrinking the revenues from oil productions in the Niger Delta. Oil production at one point dropped to less than a million BPD.

Once his 4years was done, GEJ by law had the right to go for a second term. This would have brought his reign to a straight 10years in office. The owners of Nigeria would not allow this. Despite his massive effort in the North, he was to be projected in bad light all over the media. Youths whose poor knowledge of the game at hand massively keyed into the national hate for this man including some from his own region. He was booted out in 2015 and he gave a humble exit as he was not one to see blood flow as it is known with the Jihadist coupist and Ethnic bigot Buhari. America kept a close watch, they had predicted a massive killing spree if GEJ is ever announced winner. In Abuja alone, petrol have been stocked in GP tanks in some homes to burn down the city if GEJ emerged. Massive simultaneous attacks against Igbos and Southerners have been mapped out. Being the man he is, having received the intelligence, he bowed out honourably. That victory, had it gone GEJ’s way would have perhaps sparked another civil war. Nigeria has lived to the predictions of the 100years her inventors marked her to survive. Like a bridge which has lived out its life span, it was due for a demolition and a new one rebuilt. This will of course still happen sooner or later. Mark this prediction. We will still fight that war. It is inevitable under the present arrangement Nigeria is. It is a matter of time.

GEJ would further provoke the Northern Oligarchs when he organized a National confab to address our issues. 99% of the demands from the South South and South East was to return to full fiscal federalism and Resource control as it was before the advent of Oil as our mainstay and as it is practiced in the USA which we claimed to have modelled Democracy after. That would not be allowed to pass in a National Assembly that received the recommendations by the panels because it was not in their favour. Of course with the Northern presence in the NASS spanning from 19 states alone, the Ayes and Nays will always and forever be determined by their votes on the floor of both the National Assembly and the House of Representatives.

This is why alot of Ignorant people think GEJ failed. No he did not in all ramifications! He couldn’t have woke up one day and take a decision as a president and have it scale through by decree. He is not an Emperor in a kingdom. There are processes laid down for bills to pass through and with a NASS in Northern hands, any bill that threatens their grip on oil or Nigeria is given a Nay. Any bill thay favours their grip is given an AYE. Don’t forget they have half the senators alone and the rest region, South, East and West have the other half. How can a country run like this? You see why you are ignorant to always say GEJ could have done this or done that. This is not a military regime. They carefully planned it this way by creating more states in their favour. Our fathers should have rejected this arrangement and demanded an equal states for all regions, but they too were afraid of the military Junta, I remember as a growing up boy, you dare not even talk ill of Gen Sanni Abacha in public. Our parents used to warn us before we leave the house then not to talk bad of him in public or that we will be shot point blank by soldiers whom many believe wore plain clothes and were disguised everywhere gathering intelligence for the sun shade loving Dictator.

Today, it is becoming clearer how and why the South needs to support an exit from this contraption like the South East are doing. It is becoming of great importance why we either part ways or return to resource control. James Ibori to many is a looter, but have we soon forgotten that he was one of the most vocal voices against the North when he demanded for resource control that saw oil producing states getting an upgraded package from the oil produced on their land? And who are the people suffering the environmental consequences the more? The Niger Deltans of course. How many Niger Deltans have oil well licences compared to the Northerners? One of the richest women on earth today is Mrs F. Alakija, she has an oil well licence. Another magnate who is not popular in the news Alhaji Ndimi gave a $2million cheque to the school his chikdren graduated from in the USA, he has an oil license. But don’t worry, only Ibori is a thief. Abacha is a saint. Southern cowards!!

We will never understand the dynamics of a Nigeria wired like this when we choose to call our own thieves and they call theirs Alhajis. If my southerners ever stole, I support it, this piece of the cake favours a Northern heritage which created 44 LGA’s to Kano state alone and Edo dies with 18 LGA’s and Anambra with 21. Add both LGA’s of Edo and Anambra and it is still not up to Kano state alone. what injustice? Why is my south south not having equal states with the North East? Why do you think the revenues will ever favour the sufferers of the environmental degradation of the Niger Delta? Whoever told you they are more in population? Have you seen a 10year old lid voting in the South, East or West? But kids as young as 7 years old are all given PVC’s in the North. Who registered them? Did the INEC contractor in charge of producing the PVC for this underage not See the faces of 10years old kids to raise alarm? Who collects the PVC’s on their behalf even when it is against the law to do so?

Have you lived in Port Harcourt before, the air there is polluted, the heat there is enormous, the soil there is polluted. You can feel oily substances even on your floors if you don’t mop it for 48 hours. That is how bad it is.

To be continued.

  7. I learned more new things on this losing weight issue. One issue is a good nutrition is extremely vital any time dieting. A tremendous reduction in bad foods, sugary meals, fried foods, sweet foods, pork, and white-colored flour products can be necessary. Keeping wastes unwanted organisms, and poisons may prevent ambitions for fat-loss. While certain drugs in the short term solve the issue, the horrible side effects are usually not worth it, and so they never give more than a momentary solution. It is just a known proven fact that 95 of diet plans fail. Thank you for sharing your thinking on this weblog.
