NSCDC bans personnel from displaying firearms in public after Imo politician was accidentally shot dead by one of its operatives

Personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have been banned from displaying firearms in public places by the agency’s Commandant-General, Abdulahi Gana Muhammadu.

The directive came after a Chieftain of Action Alliance, Mr Ndubuisi Emenike was accidentally shot dead last weekend by his security aide who is an NSCDC operative.

NSCDC’s spokesperson, Emmanuel Okeh confirmed the ban on public display of a firearm during a condolence visit to a former governor of Imo state and serving senator, Rochas Okorocha over the demise of the Imo politician. He said President Buhari gave the instruction.

  1. I have been surfing online greater than 3 hours today, but I by no means found any fascinating article like yours. It is lovely price sufficient for me. In my opinion, if all site owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did, the internet will probably be a lot more helpful than ever before.

  2. Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all. But think of if you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this website could definitely be one of the greatest in its field. Fantastic blog!
