Gbenga Omotosho, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Lagos state stated that banning Okada on the highway is more important to the government that people moving from one place to another.
In an interview with Channels TV, Gbenga Omotosho stated that Okada which are being banned will have alternatives like the opening of water ways but the ban is more important than the idea of people moving from one place to another.
He said with the increase in casualties from okada, broken legs, head, lips, lives lost and more are the reason the government has banned them from going on highways and bridges.
Banning Okada and restricting them is more important to the government than people moving from one point to the other. Whether you are Gokada or “Comekada”, you have to obey
