A man in his 20s was reportedly stabbed outside Nigerian singer Naira Marley’s concert last night at London’s O2 Academy in Brixton.

According to reports, the Police officers and an ambulance rushed to Stockwell Road, Lambeth, at around 9.40 pm to reports that a young man had been stabbed outside the venue where the artiste was playing.

The concert was allowed to go ahead after the incident. However, the doors were shut by the staffs of the hall, people outside were refused to enter the hall and were left agitated and confused outside.

Reporting the situation, The Metropolitan Police UK, via twitter said: “We were called to Stockwell Road, #Lambeth at 21:41hrs to a report of a stabbing.

“Officers and Ambulance attended and treated a man in his 20s with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital in a non-life threatening condition.

“No arrests; enquiries continue.”
