A Nigerian lady has called out the Delta State Government over not having light in Delta Steel Company Housing Estate in Ovwian Aladja community in Warri, for over 5 years
According to @theprudenceapinoko, residents of the community have contributed money to restore electricity but all to no avail.
She further revealed that her parents are on their 5th generator, alongside other residents who are also suffering.
She wrote;
It’s been 5 years without electricity in DSC , ovwian aladja Warri delta state .and no one seems to be concerned. And now you say stay at home, how do they stay home without light? How will the little children even manage? It is disheartening to say the least, who did they offend to be treated this way?
They have done everything within their power to restore the electricity, including contributing money. And till date nothing was done, where all contributed money entered we still can’t find it!
NB: Whoever will respond and see to it that electricity is restored will forever be celebrated for putting smile on the faces of the inhabitants, retired staff, aged parents!!! A lot of people are suffering in that place… some people’s generators are no longer working from everyday usage !!!my parents are on their 5th generator !!!
