Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, FFK, has mocked the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido, over the creation of Four new Emirates in Kano State.
The move came after Governor Abdullahi Ganduje penned his signature to a bill passed by the Kano State House of Assembly yesterday for the creation of the four new Emirates.
The new emirates would help facilitate more development to the people, as well as provide security in the respective areas.
This means there will be a decentralisation of the Kano Emirate council which will reduce the number of the emirates under the influence of the sitting Emir of Kano.
Reacting to the new development, FFK pointed out that it appears like it’s a payback for the role the Emir of Kano played which led to the election loss of former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.
“It appears that every single person that played a major role against @GEJonathan in 2015 is paying a heavy price for it today,” the former minister tweeted on Thursday.
“I sit back and I marvel at the faithfullness and power of God. The fear of God is indeed the beginning of wisdom,” he tweeted.
