A riot took place this afternoon at the boarding gate of Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja.

According to online reports, the riot was caused by a fight between Airpeace passengers – Enugu and Lagos passengers – as they struggle for who to board first.

Eyewitnesses claim that Airpeace passengers stranded at the airport since 10am caused a disruption and prevented other passengers from boarding.
