A Nigerian Ogundeji Abiodun, 41, Tazisong Fabian, Congolese, 41 and Elizabeth Mueni, Kenyan, 50, were on Tuesday evening arrested at their house in Yatta, Machakos County, Kenya, with fake Sh1,000 new notes
According to posts on social media by Directorate Of Criminal Investigation (DCI), the trio had been circulating the fake notes to unsuspecting citizens within Kakumini village, Machakos.
“The operation that led to the arrest of the three at their house was triggered by a tip-off from members of the public, it was gathered that the trio was circulating the said fake notes to unsuspecting citizens within Kakumini village,”
The materials used in making the notes were confiscated.
They are in Custody, awaiting charges.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
