The governor of Edo state Mr Godwin Obaseki has flay past governments for abandoning Stella Obasanjo Hospital.
In a video that was shared on his verified official Facebook page dated 16 October 2019, the governor visited Stella Obasanjo Hospital, spoke about the total restructuring of the healthcare system, more so the need to have referral centers, referral hospitals where patients who can’t be treated at the basic health centres would now be moved to for proper treatment.
The governor also spoke about Edo State health insurance law, a law that would be made compulsory for every citizen of Edo to save towards their health care requirements, promising quality health care that the citizens would be glad for what they are paying for.
Governor Godwin Obaseki also emphasised on the issue of inadequate staff in the health centres.
Facebook users have hailed and praised the governor over his recent actions and boldness in the matters of the State.
