[VIDEO] Edo Chief disgraced after he tried to forcefully crown his brother as the Okaivbo of Ikoha Community in Edo South West

An Edo Chief was disgraced and his car destroyed after he tried to forcefully crown his brother as the Okaivbo (The head of the village) of Ikoha Community in Edo South West.

According to a Facebook user, Happy Omoriye who shared the video online a few hours ago, Chief Friday Obaruyi has previously done the same thing at Iguobazuwa, another Community in the State, where he also tried to crown his brother as the Okaivbo , meanwhile, there is already an Okaivbo in the Community.

Luck ran out on him this time as some aggrieved youths of Ikoha Community chased him away.

Happy Omoriye wrote;

This man name is called Friday obaruyi so call chief he plan to take over our community IKOHA in over south west the way he was about doing to IGUOBAZUWA he plan n his brother was aborted, he was about crowning his brother as OKAEVO of IKOHA, and was disgrace n humiliated.this

Some comments on the post indicate that the Chief is known for his wicked act of oppressing the people in the community.

Lately, there’s has been a lot of cases of community crises in Edo State, some communities have also accused some chiefs of selling your lands to rich billionaires who are non-indigenes leaving the villagers with no choice but to go and be farming in the thick forest whereby making farming which is their only source of likelihood very difficult and risky, due to insecurity in the country.
