A mother, 20, is accused of torturing her baby to death because he pulled a television set over, according to police.
Rhionna Nichols is accused of killing little Viston Stevenson and she will appear in court following the horrific death of the child in Detroit, Illinois last week.
Tiny Viston Stevenson died after being rushed to hospital in Detroit, Illinois. He reportedly suffered a fractured skull, swelling on the brain, a broken collarbone, broken riles, a broken pelvis and internal bleeding.
His mother Rhionna Nichols, 20, was arrested. She will appear in court this week charged with his murder. It was confirmed that she also faces counts of first-degree child abuse and torture.
The child’s aunt Kenya Stevenson told local WXYZ News: “I just hope they don’t let her out. It was quite devastating at the hospital. Seeing him there and not being able to hold him.
