A media aide to the former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Yemi Saka has come out to debunk rumours that he is dead.
Earlier today, news circulated across some platforms on the demise of the former Head of State.
Yemi Saka in a statement released on social media claimed it’s false and Nigerian should disregard such report.

My attention has been drawn to a misinformation in public domain, just as I have been inundated with calls about the purported demise of General General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida(Rtd). The report is false as General Babangida(Rtd) is alive, hale and hearty.
The public is hereby advised to disregard such report.
