The management of the University of Port Harcourt has introduced the use of a biometric device for students’ attendance to lectures in the institution.
The switch from manual to electronic is expected to curb student absenteeism from lectures. A video which has already gone viral on social media captured moment some students of the university made use of the device during a lecture.
