Singer 9ice and comedian Ebiye are currently trending on Twitter after the comedian released a skit in which he insinuated that ”Gongo Aso” crooner was secretly happy that Burna Boy did not win the 2020 Grammy.
Ebiye in his skit mimicked 9ice singing to his track in which he promised to ”bring home the Grammys”. While singing, Ebiye went on to mimic 9ice picking a phone call where he was told Burna did not win the Grammys and was jubilating while pretending to be sad for the singer.
Some Nigerians found the joke distasteful and dragged him while others argue that the comedian was only playing out the mind of many Nigerian singers who might have been secretly happy Burna Boy did not win the award.
