A mini election was held in Bauchi state to decide who gets married to a young lady, after she fell in love with two boys and found it tough to pick.
According to Twitter user, @Mubarack_Umar, the young lady identified as, Khadija fell in love with two men, Inusa and Ibrahim in Giade town, Bauchi state.
Since she couldn’t choose one of the pair, the elders of the community decided to conduct an election to decide who gets married to her.
The turn up for the election was massive, and Inusa scored the highest votes, and also getting a ‘certificate of return.’
Sharing the gist, @Mubarack_Umar, wrote;
Khadija has fallen in love with 2 boys but couldn’t chose 1 between them; none of the boys also ready to accept defeat.
The elders of Giade town, Bauchi State (with Khadija’s request) conducted an election and Inusa scored highest number of votes, against his rival, Ibrahim.
