Two Nigerian students have been arrested in India, for allegedly peddling 21grams of cocaine at Apex Circle in Malviya Nagar.
The two students were identified as 23-year-old, Abbas and 29-year-old Ibrahim, according to IndianTimes.
According to the media outlet, Abbas travelled to Jaipur as a student in 2016 from Ajaro, Nigeria, but dropped out after two semesters. On his part, Ibrahim, had gone to Rajasthan in 2015, from Kano State, to study Pharmacy and graduated in 2019.
The police said that the duo had been under surveillance for the past couple of months. During the investigation, it was discovered that the drug was supplied to them by another Nigerian and the police have initiated moves to get him arrested also.
