Lagos State Govt Confirms Six New Cases Of Coronavirus Were Detected On A Vessel In The State

The Lagos State Ministry of Health has confirmed the report by the NCDC that of the 12 new cases of Coronavirus confirmed in the state on Thursday, March 26, 6 were detected on a vessel that arrived the state.

The Nigerian Ports Authority called out the NCDC on Twitter over the said report that six of the cases were detected on a vessel.

In a tweet posted on Friday morning, the Lagos state government said out of the six cases detected in a vessel, one of them is a Polish national, the other a Ukrainian while the remaining four are Nigerians.
