As states in Nigeria take various steps to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Osun state government has now made the use of face mask mandatory.

This was made known by the state Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, stating that use of face mask in public places by residents, is now mandatory.

In a statement released on Thursday afternoon, April 23, the state governor said the mandatory use of facemask will take effect from Friday April 24th.

Osun state has 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
