Nasoweseeamonline reported yesterday about a video showing some group of Eiye members that were on a search hunt to kill Black Axe members following the death of a notable man, Osaro Igbinigun at Uwelu Quarters. Read here
It was reported that they succeeded in killing a young man yesterday at the same Uwelu Quarters just as it was insinuated.
Nasoweseeamonline gathered that the young man that was killed was not a member of any confraternity or cult group, his death was as a result of the familiar saying ‘being at the wrong place at the wrong time’ apparently he was a friend/relative of a well-known member of Black Axe, hence they could not find the person they were looking for, he was killed to send a warning message to the Black Axe member. Again, this morning more Eiye armed members were seen wailing and boasting on the street of Benin City marching to Uwelu Road, according to what they said in the video.
“Na Eiye be this o, na massive crowd o, Eiye nor dey thief, we dey go Uwelu, for our big meat wey them (Black Axe) kill, them go hear word, boys are rugged, we go kill Aye” said the group of young boys.
