Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh, has opened up on how she was rescued by Don Jazzy and Teebills when she was suicidal many years ago.
According to the actress, she was in so much excruciating pain, one day she said to herself ”Today was a perfect day to die”. She added that God spared her, showed her love, and also thanked Teebillz and Don Jazzy for coming to her rescue at that moment.
The actress made the statement while reacting to the death of Nigerian Izu who committed suicide after he was accused of non-physical rape. Read here
Taken to her Instagram page, she wrote;
This was me 9/10 years ago, I’m here because I believed there was much more to life than my suitation…
I wanted to badly believe God DIDNT hate me, I wanted to badly stop the hurt but it just kept coming so strong.
I knew I was ready, I mean the pain was Excruciating..
Today was a perfect day to die I said, 🤦♀️ SMH
God spared me, God showed me how much love he had for me that day..
Shoutout to @teebillz323 @donjazzy for coming to my rescue, I honestly pray for you everyday.
