The Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, speaking this morning at the Palace of the Otaru of Igarra, Oba Emmanuel Adeche Saiki II, in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, Edo State, announcing his decision to run for a second term in the office.
He thanked the royal father for his prayers and support in the last four years and said that civil servants and pensioners receive their alert latest on the 26th of every month.
Godwin Obaseki giving his reasons why he is seeking reelection said;
“Today in Akoko-Edo land, civil servants, pensioners received their alert latest on the 26th of every month”
He was immediately corrected by someone in the audience that the date was no longer 26th but 22nd.
“It’s now 22nd sir, squealed a man from the audience”. Make una give am three GBOSA! Shouted another man.
He was applauded loudly by the audience, adding that there is still much left to be done in the State.
“I know that we need to do more, I know what we need to do to do more”, said the governor.
