The General overseer of the Living Faith Ministries popularly known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has stated that COVID-19 is a mere noise from hell and that it’s a mere fever.
The Bishop said so while reacting to the viral video of Nigerian born US doctor Stella Immanuel, who said that antimalarial drug; hydroxychloroquine, zinc and antibacterial drug, Zithromax were effective in the treatment of Coronavirus, Immanuel also shared her experience of managing over 350 Coronavirus patients, the Nigerian-born doctor stated that no patient has died under her care, including those with underlying medical conditions like diabetes, asthma high blood pressure and others, accusing her colleagues and pharmaceutical companies of a cover-up which subsequently lead to Facebook, Twitter and Youtube deleting her videos from their platforms on. Recall that the Nigerian government had shut down all the religious centres due to the COVID-19 Pandemic that has claimed several lives worldwide.
However, many clerics like Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Bishop David Oyedepo had criticized the government and some pastors who agreed to closing down churches over coronavirus without consulting with fellow church leaders.
