Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the Chairman of the Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Bege Katuka Humble.
It was gathered that the incident took place at Kiduni village in Chikun Local Government Area of the state around 3pm on Sunday September 27, on the way home from his farm.
Humble’s friend who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, September 29, said that the chairman was being conveyed home from his farm on a motorcycle when the gunmen opened fire, killing the rider before whisking away Mr Katuka.
Meanwhile, friends and family members have taken to Facebook to pray for his safe return.
