Newspaper vendors in Abuja took to the streets this morning to protest the killing of their colleague, Ifeanyi Elechi, in Abuja on Thursday, November 19 by a security detail of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
In a statement released on his social media handles, Gbajabiamila said a stray bullet fired by his security detail killed the vendor. Read here.
The colleagues of the deceased vendor are demanding justice.
