Joshua’s ninth-round knockout win against Kubrat Pulev helped him to retain his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts at Wembley Arena.

Fury who is the WBC, Lineal belt and Ring Magazine heavyweight champion took to his Twitter page after Joshua’s win to call him out.

According to Fury, Joshua wants to avoid him but he will try all his best to make the fight happen.

Fury also promised to knock out Joshua in 3 rounds.

Fury took to social media to say: “I want the fight, I want the fight next and I will knock him out inside three rounds.”

There are hurdles in the way of the super-fight projected for 2021 between Fury and Joshua.

WBO mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk wants to enforce a challenge between him and Joshua while Deontay Wilder is trying to attempt legal challenges after Fury pulled out of a third fight after the coronavirus pandemic and Wilder’s injury delayed a June date.

But Joshua has now responded, saying Fury will make him better.

“That’s good to hear. At least I can get him in the ring. That’s what we want right? So he’s on the right track,” Joshua told the BBC when asked about Fury’s social media taunts.

“I said he’s talented and he will bring out the best in me. So that’s brilliant.

“I’ve been to his fights, I’ve watched him, so when I fight him it will be good to change those odds and put them in my favour.”
