An advocacy group, Centre For Basic Rights Protection And Accountability Campaign has shared photos of a young pregnant woman found in critical condition in Rivers state.
According to the group, the young woman simply identified as Happiness was impregnated and abandoned by a man.
She was found lying in critical state along the road by OPM free specialist hospital junction, Omuahumnwo, Uniport road, in Aluu.
An Obstetic scan report attached to the post shows that her uterus has ruptured and the fetus “non-viable and non-active”
An operation needs to be carried out urgently to evacuate the foetus and save her life.
