According to an online report, a young man was brutally assaulted and detained by men of the Nigeria Police Force at Igueben Local Government Area of Edo State.

It was gathered that the man was arrested earlier today because he refused to give the officers N100 at their checkpoint.

The young man was finally released with the help of Osazee Edigin, the public relations officer of Edo Civil Society Organisations.
