Liam Hemsworth was spotted for the first time since after he addressed his split from wife Miley Cyrus.
On Tuesday, August 13, the Australian actor, 29, was pictured in high spirit as he headed for a spot of surfing with his brother, Chris.
Breaking his silence on their split, Liam wrote: ‘Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward… Peace and Love.’
His post on IG comes two days after Miley, 26, issued a statement to People magazine, confirming their break-up.
‘Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers,’ the statement read.
‘They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.’
Before their split, Miley was spotted kissing Brody’s ex-wife Kaitlynn during a girls’ getaway to Lake Como, Italy, on Friday 24 hours before she announced her split from husband Liam.
