A video currently making rounds on social media, shows activist Curtis Eghosa Ugbo sitting on the floor at the Palace of the Oba of Benin.
This is coming to many as a shock because today October 20 is the birthday of the Oba, a lot of dignitaries are expected to be at the palace to celebrate with his royal majesty Oba Ewaure 11 N’ogidigan.
According to the man who recorded the video and posted it, Curtis Ugbo is been held for siding and taking sides with Germany based Edo man, Eddie Murphy Idahosa the self-acclaimed Social Media President.
You can recall that in October 2018 when Eddie Murphy visited Nigeria on a short holiday, he was disgraced, made to take an oath of loyalty, strips off of his clothes, pushed out of the palace and was tagged an enemy of the palace for allegedly speaking against the palace for asking the Oba to provide electricity and good roads for the people of Edo, and also to restructure his cabinet of Chief because according to Eddie Murphy the chiefs are corrupt, a s
Eddie Murphy later apologized for saying the things listed above and later returned back to his base in Germany with his wife and children.
So people are really dumbfounded to see Curtis Ugbo treated in that manner, also tagged an enemy of the palace.
