Once upon a time, not too long though.
There were these two ladies, Atuari Edokpolor popularly known as Monica Ambrose, aka Shine Your Shine Make I Shine My Shine, and her best friend Anu Ajose popularly known as Lolo, aka Dagolden Fish, (in this lengthy story we will be referring to them as Monica & Lolo).

They are both originally from Edo State but lives in the Netherlands. These ladies were among the first few that started Live Streaming on Facebook claiming to empower women in distress and also to help boost confidence in women.
But according to reports the ladies actually come across to their viewers as bullies, purportedly trying to bring people down, social status notwithstanding – by making them feel inferior or poor class. Multiple reports have it that Monica and Lolo became a thorn on the flesh of so many people, most especially the single mothers in the society, all they talked about are women who are alone and struggling with their children, calling them depressed, failures, useless and most of the time, making them feel guilty as if it’s their fault that they don’t have a husband because Monica and her bestie Lolo made people believe that they were ‘happily married’ women.
The ladies rose to fame on Facebook in 2017, when they started teaching their followers on social media how to apply makeup, even if they had no qualification or a certificate to do that, they did it anyway and the feedback they got was overwhelming, indicating that they allowed pride to get the most parts of them as a result of their popularity.
The ladies became even more famous that they started collecting money from people to judge or settle their cases online, be it a marital crisis, a dispute between friends, etc. That was when the word ‘Facebook presenter’ popped up from, so apparently, everything was going well for them, they saw themselves as superstars.
At some point, Monica started discouraging her followers from investing or having properties in their country of origin in Africa, referring to their investment back home as ‘Potopoto’ meaning mud in pidgin English.
It was reported that some women who were supporting their husband financially in joint businesses or investments back home in Africa stopped assisting or supporting, why? Because their ‘role model’ Monica told them that investing in Africa is a waste of resources thereby causing problems between couples resulting in breakups in homes.
In a bid to promote a political ambition that died immediately on arrival, Monica made a gaffe in March 2018, saying she was going to bring back terrorism to Nigeria, what she actually meant was to bring back tourism to Nigeria as a means of boosting the economy.

As if that was not enough, in March 2019, ace Nollywood actor Emeka Ike called out Monica Ambrose on his Instagram page for persuading women to buy bottles from her to lock up their stubborn husband or lover, according to Monica doing that will enable the ladies to have total control over the men. Well, that was Monica, she will always have a way of standing back on her feet after every fall or shortcomings. For example when a man Adegboye Goodluck aka swaggalicious native doctor accused her of trying to seduce him and luring him into his matrimonial bed (it was scandalous) Monica suddenly announced on social media that she was pregnant, (a lie her friend Lolo later debunked, see video below) just to take peoples attention away from the accusation from Swaggalicious Native Doctor.

The ladies added to their already listed online CV’s when they initiated a class named Afiokodi, where they lectured people but mostly women on how to satisfy their sexual desires with their spouses or when they are alone, charging a payment few of Twenty thousand Naira (now €47) yearly. An act that was kicked against by people on social media due to cultural beliefs and heritage.
Fast forward to February 2020 when Monica visited Nigeria and suddenly announced on her Facebook page via live streaming, her Shine Your Shine Hotel, Monica hotel? Hell no! That didn’t really go down well with most of her followers, even if the Hotel was not yet completed but some felt betrayed and some others felt mislead, you told us that investing in Africa/Nigeria was a waste of resources, they queried. So her bestie Lolo seeing all the negative comments, insults and curses people were laying on Monica on social media for lying and misleading them, quickly, did a video on her YouTube channel telling people that the Hotel does not belong to Monica that it was for another lady who wanted to use Monica aka Shine Your Shine‘ to gain diaspora clients into the hotel when it’s completed, in other words, it was for business strategy.
According to Lolo, Monica didn’t like that moves, you shouldn’t have leaked my secret to the world, says Monica, and accused Lolo of betraying the trust she had on her.
Is it because I told you? You should have allowed them to be swearing or insulting me on social media, after all, I am used to receiving backlash from haters on social media, says Monica.

Nasoweseeamonline also gathered that their friendship made a u-turn when Lolo’s ‘Goddaughter’ Mami Chula got angry after her YouTube channel was taken down by Youtube after Monica reported her channel for publishing her video, accusing Mami Chala of stealing her contents to gain subscribers, the lady Mami Chula got furious accusing her Godmother Lolo, to have conspired with her best friend Monica to bring down her channel. So Mami Chula began throwing words to the two ladies, revealing, according to her all the gossips her Godmother Lolo had told her about her bestie Monica.
Days after Monica announced her ‘hotel’ Shine Your Shine, speculations started coming from every angle on social media, including from their fellow-presenters that the two ladies are falling apart. There was satisfaction from a lot of people, seeing all the enemies they created and attracted to themselves as a result of what they were doing on social media.
Monica arrived in her base in the Netherlands after a successful trip from Nigeria, went on with her normal saga life Facebook and YouTube, trying much to avoid talking about her bestie Lolo.
Lolo took to her YouTube channel on February 28, 2020, to render a hearty apology to everyone she has offended on social media, a move people appreciated and commended her for it.
However, Monica didn’t like that, possibly because she felt left alone in the battlefield of bashing on people because she has followers, the same followers she refers to as illiterates and dump heads, well, that’s according to ex-bestie Lolo (see video below)

Monica started calling out her friend on social media, accused her of adultery, of taking drugs, says she is into crack, mentioned some men Lolo had illicit affairs with while she was still married to her husband. Also revealing that Lolo is a single parent because her husband left her and their children, moved to the UK to start a new life, confirming what haters have been saying about Lolo.
Lolo in retaliation also accused Monica of sleeping around, called out the names of some Benin elite married men Monica had affairs with, a supposedly married woman. See video below;

Lolo didn’t stop there, she further explained the reason her ex-friend is so bitter and arrogant and revealed that Monica was raped by her father when she was a little girl, added that Monica does not know the meaning of love, hence are attitude she displays on social media. See video below

Along the line of their unending dispute, the public got to know that even Monica is a single parent as well because her husband too now lives in the UK, even if he is still in contact with Monica and their children but by law, they are not married at least not anymore according to the Netherlands civil partnership law, because according to ex-bestie Lolo, she deliberately divorced her husband to enable her to qualify for Single Parents benefit in the Netherlands.
The saddest part of this story is the fake life these ladies are living, deceiving their followers, claiming to be what they are not, insulting and attacking what they are doing behind close doors, or are we going to talk about how they teased women over their dress sense? bullying women over makeup not done well, saying they are low class for buying cheap clothes online…
A video surfaced on Facebook showing Monica In a drunken mood, a video she later accused her former bestie of leaking online to disgrace her, the video also came as a shock to the general public, the same Monica Ambrose that told her followers that she doesn’t take alcohol and that same person is seen drunk to the extent she was lost and looking for the way to the restroom in her own house. The almighty Monica aka the leader as she calls herself broke down on Saturday 25th April, she couldn’t take the heat anymore, the blows coming from every Tom, Dick and Harry she had insulted, lied against or bullied took to the same medium she had used to fight them to apologise and beg for their forgiveness.
She apologized first to B&B, Amb Dion Osagie, his mother and wife Winifred Osagie and his Godsent family, Precious Meg, Mummy Beatrice Okpaika, Odion Loveth aka Mummy Love, Tondia, Ivie, lovelyn Ehichoya, Eddie Murphy Idahosa aka Social Media President and his wife Isoken Idahosa, Gladys Constantino Amadin aka mama Gladys of Together In God’s Family foundation, German First Lady, Benin Palace, Esan Palace, Swaggalicious Native Doctor, more so to all the single mothers, Stainless Amadin, Princess Ero aka Princess By Birth, Iyore 1 of Paris, Destiny Ebagua, Esther Obakpolor and her now arch-enemy Lolo and others.

She Dissolved her Afiokodi class, promised to reimburse some of her followers who already paid into her account.
Now that Monica Ambrose has apologized, is her apology going to be accepted by the people she hurt?.

Is Monica ambrose trying to use her apology to turn peoples attention away from the accusations, as she has done in the past?
