Edo people came out in mass this morning to show their support for governor Godwin Obaseki. This is coming after the premises of Edo State House of Assembly was taken over by armed personnel of the Nigerian Police force.
‘We are ready to die to defend our land, Edo is worth dying for, Oshiomhole should come with DSS or Army, you must bury us before you’ll remove Obaseki’ says Albert Obazee and other notable Edo men supporting Godwin Obaseki.

There are speculations that elected house members who are in the All Progressive Congress loyal to the former national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, have perfected plans to sit at the Assembly Complex, which is currently under renovation.
It is widely speculated that these elected lawmakers, who have not been sworn in, are making preparations for their inauguration and to elect a new speaker with a view to impeaching Governor Godwin Obaseki.
